In August 2025 a group of dedicated staff from Richmond Hill Primary Academy are taking on the challenge of the Three Yorkshire Peaks to raise vital funds for two causes close to our hearts.

What makes this even more special is that our pupils chose the two charities themselves, showing real compassion and community spirit:

50% for Outdoor Play Equipment – to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for our pupils to learn and grow through play. The children have expressed a heartfelt wish to raise money for something fun and lasting - a ping pong table for the playground! (amongst other equipment)

50% for Cancer Research – to support life-saving research and honour those in our school community affected by cancer.

Their enthusiasm has inspired us to take on this challenge, and we'd love your support to help us reach our goal.

We will be hiking Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside in under 12 hours – a total of 24 miles and over 5,000 feet of vertical ascent!
