Melanie was in an high-speed collision last Saturday, breaking many bones and in significant pain. She's now stuck in hospital for some time, and we (her parents) will have to look after her and be unable to work in that time.

While many of her medical and related expenses are covered, not everything is, and we also need to buy some replacement things for her. I'm sure she will also have things to pay for because of the accident that we can't think of right now.
