Our Goal: Raise £25,000 for New Floodlights

For more than 40 years, the floodlights at Histon Football Club have illuminated football matches, training sessions, community events and countless memories. Today, those floodlights are approaching the end of their operational life.

We we need to replace them with a modern, efficient and reliable solution that will serve the club and community for many years to come. It will help reduce maintenance costs, improve energy efficiency and ensure that football remains accessible throughout the year.

The total project cost is approximately £75,000 and we are in the process of obtaining funding from the Premiere League Stadium foundation and we need support to raise £25,000 for this once-in-a-generation investment that will benefit our club and community for decades to come.

The club is run with sustainability and responsibility at its core. Through the hard work of volunteers, sponsors, supporters and committee members, Histon Football Club remains financially stable and continues to invest in its facilities and football programmes. We have come a long way since the dark days of the last ten to fifteen years ago and last season our Men's, Ladies' and U18s sides all showed what can be achieved when the club and it's supporters all work together.

That is why we are asking everyone connected with Histon Football Club—supporters past and present, local businesses, sponsors, volunteers, families and members of the wider community—to help us raise the final £25,000.

Every donation, no matter its size, will contribute towards securing the future of football at Histon and if you are able to donate in excess of £250 please contact the football club directly as we would like recognise your donation with a signed shirt, and we will also recognise all donations over £1000 with your name/business listed on a special patrons board located in our clubhouse.

Together, we can create a lasting legacy and ensure that the lights continue to shine on future generations of players, supporters and volunteers.
