Hello, my name is Ibrahim Noman Hajji. I am 17 years old and live in Gaza, Palestine with my brothers, sister and mother. When I was a child in 2008 my father was killed during a raid on Gaza. Since then my mother has worked tirelessly to raise us with strong morals and a deep respect for humanity. She is the most important person in my life and I want nothing more than to see her and our family safe and happy.

Since the conflict in Gaza began our homes, schools, hospitals and universities have been systematically targeted and destroyed. Our neighborhood is now in ruins and our future is uncertain. In the past year we have been forcibly relocated multiple times. Tragically, during this period I lost one of my dear brothers and my baby nephew. In the face of this loss, I created this GoFundMe campaign to find a way for my family to escape and live in peace and safety.

Currently, I have four immediate family members left: my brothers Ahmed & Fadel, my sister Asmaa and my beloved mother Etra. This past year our sole focus has been on survival.

My siblings and I have big dreams. I was supposed to graduate high school this year but due to the destruction caused by the Israeli military, the education system in Gaza has collapsed. I dream of becoming an architectural engineer. My brother Ahmed wants to become a doctor and my sister Asmaa aspires to be an accountant.

In my free time I enjoy praying, reading the Quran, making others happy, and playing football (soccer). I hope to make a positive impact on this world and leave behind a beautiful legacy.

Any donation to help us safely evacuate Gaza would be deeply appreciated. Once we have rebuilt our lives and achieved our dreams, my family and I will work tirelessly to give back to others.

How the funds will be used:

The funds will be used to cross the border from Gaza to Egypt which costs approximately $5,000 USD per person. This campaign will cover the expenses for me, my sister, my mother, my two brothers, my brother's wife and their child to leave Gaza safely. Once we reach Egypt, we hope to reunite with my uncle's family in Canada, where we can continue our education.

At $5,000 USD per person, $35,000 will be used for the border crossing. The remaining funds will help us rebuild our lives and afford basic necessities.
