Help Us Lay Tom Kolb to Rest, Vietnam Veteran

My Father, Tom Kolb, passed away on October 29th due to extensive and exhausting medical complications that have been such a battle for him. He was an incredible Husband to my Mother, the most amazing Father to my siblings and I, an outstanding Grandfather (Papa) to his 8 Grandchildren, and a great friend to many.

My Dad lived a long life full of hard work, dedication, and always putting those he loved and cared for before himself. We are absolutely heartbroken to lose him, and while it brings comfort to know that he is with my Mom and big brother Tommy in Heaven, the emotional toll and acceptance that he’s gone is just not going to be any easier for any of us as expected.

Leaving behind family who cherished him greatly, and friends who loved him dearly - Dad is comfortable, in peace and eternal rest.

This fundraiser is very hard for my family to do, but the expenses that are arising with his unexpected passing are overwhelming and seeming very unachievable for us to gather on our own in such a short time frame. My father is a Vietnam Veteran, and he absolutely deserves an honorable funeral service. However, we need to have all funds paid in full to the funeral home before a service date can even be set and the process can begin. They do not have an option for payment plans which makes this all the more stressful. Unfortunately, the Veteran’s Association can only help by reimbursing up to a few hundred for my Dad’s service, which could take months.
