Hi everyone, my name is Teahne, and I have created this on behalf of my cousin Elyse, and her children Naveah (9), Bentley (7), Alita (3), and a new angel on the way.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Uncle Lenny, who left us for the Dreamtime on 29th August 2025. Our family is devastated and wants nothing more than to give him the respectful farewell he truly deserves.
Lenny was a devoted father to Michelle, Troy, Tracey, Todd, Wade, and Elyse; a proud grandfather to many; and a beloved uncle to all. He shaped and raised many of us and has left his mark on everyone who knew him. He was funny, stubborn, and always ready with a joke—whether it made you laugh or even cry. That was his way of showing love. Despite the struggles he faced as part of the stolen generation, he wore his smile with pride, and it was contagious, lighting up every room he entered. He was our storyteller, our wise jokester, our Elder.
He was a true nomad at heart, untameable and adventurous, who ran away from every boy’s home or hospital he was forced to live in, just to get back to his family. He lived life on his own terms—never seen without a VB in hand, whether at home or at the local pub, always rocking his dressing gown and tan chemist slides like his life depended on it. He wasn’t afraid to help himself to your fridge or tell you to shut up when it was needed. Uncle Lenny enforced good manners on us all, often alongside a few songs that will never be forgotten. His humour, spirit, and wild heart touched everyone who knew him.
If you ever responded with “what,” you got:
"Snot… Put in a pot… I won’t be greedy… You can have the lot!"
Sadly, his sudden passing has left our family unprepared for the financial costs of his funeral and memorial. We want to honour his memory in the way he deserves, but the expenses have become overwhelming.
Every donation will go directly toward funeral services and burial arrangements, helping us give Uncle Lenny the dignified farewell he deserves.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page with others would mean the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
With love,
