Help Us Lay Teresa Ibarra to Rest with Love

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of my mother Teresa Ibarra on 4/18/2025. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt . She was diagnosed with liver cancer on 2020 and fought her long battle , never giving up. She tackled every chemotherapy, every radiation until she exhausted all the treatments including her main surgery in 2021 where half her liver and gallbladder were removed. She never gave up not even on her final days as cancer took the best of her early 2025. When her liver cancer had spread to her brain and other parts of her body. She fought since day one even when drs would tell her that her type of cancer life prognosis was only for 1 year. She made it to 5 years as the warrior she has always been. We are reaching out to our family members and friends for support in honoring her memory and providing a dignified send-off. We are raising funds to cover the costs of funeral services, burial, etc.. Your generosity, no matter how small, will make a difference in ensuring that she is laid to rest with the love and respect she deserved. We are also grateful for your kind words and thoughts during this difficult time. Thank you for celebrating my mothers life with us.".

Con gran pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de mi madre Teresa Ibarra el 04/18/2025. Era una querida madre, hermana, abuela y tía. Le diagnosticaron cáncer de hígado en 2020 y luchó su larga batalla, sin rendirse nunca. Abordó cada quimioterapia, cada radiación hasta que agotó todos los tratamientos, incluida su cirugía principal en 2021, donde le extirparon la mitad del hígado y la vesícula biliar. Nunca se rindió, ni siquiera en sus últimos días, cuando el cáncer se llevó lo mejor de ella a principios de 2025. Cuando su cáncer de hígado se había extendido a su cerebro y otras partes de su cuerpo. Luchó desde el primer día, incluso cuando los médicos le decían que el pronóstico de vida por su tipo de cáncer era de solo 1 año. Llegó a los 5 años como la guerrera que siempre ha sido. Nos estamos comunicando con nuestros familiares y amigos para que nos apoyen para honrar su memoria y brindarle una despedida digna. Estamos recaudando fondos para cubrir los gastos del funeral, el entierro, etc. Su generosidad, por pequeña que sea, marcará la diferencia para asegurar que reciba un entierro con el amor y el respeto que merecía.
