It is with heavy hearts we share, that on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, God had called home our beloved Sergio “Nano” Munguia. Sergio’s story moved many people. His story is one of redemption. In April of this year, Nano made the life-changing decision to give his life to the Lord and be baptized. His testimony was to bury his old self and be renewed, and from that moment on, his heart turned toward God, and he began living with renewed faith and hope. It was a blessing from God for our family to witness and experience.

Those who knew Nano they saw his kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit. Even when he had little, he gave much—whether it was tithing from his first paycheck or offering help to those in need. He was soft-spoken, patient, caring, and always brought laughter to those around him.

As a family, our hearts are heavy, but we rejoice knowing that Nano is now at peace in God’s presence. As we prepare to lay him to rest, we are asking for support to help cover funeral expenses so we can honor his life and give him the farewell he deserves. Any contribution, no matter the size, is a blessing. If you are unable to give financially, we humbly ask for your prayers and love for our family as we navigate this heartbreaking loss.
