We are heartbroken to share the sudden and unexpected loss of Serena.

Serena was someone who brought so much light into the lives of the people around her. She had a beautiful way of making others feel seen, loved, and cared for. Above all, she was a devoted mother, and her love for her son was the center of her world.

Our family is now facing the difficult reality of covering funeral, memorial, and burial expenses during an already devastating time. We are asking for help to give Serena the peaceful and respectful goodbye she deserves. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward funeral costs, including burial services and memorial arrangements. The monies raised for this fundraiser have been provided via a cashier's check to my sister, Mary Pietrowiak, Serena's grandmother, who has used them to pay funeral and burial expenses. The families, friends and relatives are grateful for the generous gifts bestowed to her in order to lay Serena to rest on May 7, 2026. Further donations are not being accepted at this time.
