Our family’s book of knowledge unexpectedly left us this weekend; we are incredibly devastated.

Mike Mitchell was called to be with God on Saturday without warning. An accidental fall with brain trauma and a massive cardiopulmonary event took him from our family in a matter of seconds. Dad still had so much to teach us, so many stories to pass down, and a vast amount of history still to share with the younger generations.

Despite Dad being our family’s patriarch and elder, we still believed he had many years left to give to us. To ease the financial burden and stress on my mother, I have been encouraged by friends and extended family to post a GoFundMe in the wake of his passing. All of the money we raise here will go directly to funeral expenses. We appreciate you helping us celebrate the life of Mike Mitchell with respect, dignity, and love.
