Hello my name is Brenda, and I am my father's youngest daughter. To honor my father, Oscar Sequen, I am creating this fundraiser to help lay him to rest.

My father struggled with alcoholism for many years. On April 11, 2026, he sadly passed away and was found dead in the street. He was a son, a brother, a father of three, a grandfather, and a cousin. He lived for 58 years. My family and I did everything we could to help him, including getting him into rehabilitation for his alcoholism, but he would always leave. Despite his struggles, he was a very friendly and silly person who loved to joke around and always showed love for his kids.

Now, my family is facing the difficult task of putting him to rest. We are asking for help to cover the costs of his funeral, memorial services, transportation to the funeral home, and a casket. These expenses are more than we can manage on our own, and we want to give him the respectful farewell he deserves.

Mi padre luchó contra el alcoholismo durante muchos años. Lamentablemente, falleció el 11 de abril de 2026; fue hallado muerto en la calle. Fue hijo, hermano, padre de tres hijos, abuelo y primo. Vivió 58 años. Mi familia y yo hicimos todo lo que pudimos para ayudarlo —incluyendo internarlo en un centro de rehabilitación para tratar su alcoholismo—, pero él siempre terminaba marchándose. A pesar de sus luchas, era una persona muy amigable y bromista, a quien le encantaba hacer chistes y que siempre demostró un gran amor por sus hijos.

Ahora, mi familia se enfrenta a la difícil tarea de darle el último adiós. Solicitamos su ayuda para cubrir los gastos de su funeral, los servicios conmemorativos, el traslado a la funeraria y el ataúd. Estos gastos superan lo que podemos afrontar por nuestra cuenta, y deseamos brindarle la despedida digna y respetuosa que él se merece.
