Our world was shattered when my dad was found dead in a hotel room on Monday Oct 13, 2025 in Metter, Georgia. We still can’t believe it — one day he was here, and the next, he was just… gone. It doesn’t feel real.

He left behind me and my sister, and now we’re trying to figure out how to handle everything — the costs, the arrangements, all of it — while we’re still trying to wrap our heads around losing him. We don’t have the means to cover everything on our own, but we want to give our dad the proper goodbye he deserves.

My dad wasn’t perfect, but he was ours. He had his struggles, but he also had a big heart and moments that made you laugh even when you didn’t want to. Now all we have left are memories, and we just want to bring him home and lay him to rest with dignity.
