With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Miguel “Mike” Vasquez.

Mike was the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor made people feel seen and welcomed instantly. One conversation with Mike was enough to know you had met someone special—someone you would want in your life forever. He had a heart bigger than words can express.

For many years, Mike bravely fought cancer, yet he never allowed it to take away his joy or his faith. Even on his hardest days, he chose positivity, hope, and gratitude. Not a single day went by without his smile, his encouragement, or his ability to lift others up.

Raised in the Montebello/East Los Angeles area, Mike dedicated nearly 40 years of his life to Weber’s Auto Parts in Montebello, starting in 1985. To customers, coworkers, and friends, Mike wasn’t just an employee—he was family. He was always willing to help, always went the extra mile, and treated everyone with genuine care and respect.

Above all else, Mike was a devoted father and family man. He loved his six children and grandchildren with his whole heart and was their greatest supporter, protector, and role model. His family meant everything to him, and his love for them was unwavering.

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we ask for your support during this difficult time.
