As many of you know, my mother battled a long, hard battle against colon cancer that quickly metastasized to her liver and lungs. She fought for close to 9 years and always did it with grace and faith no one could understand. Her trust in God was so big, and she always told us how much she loved our Lord and trusted in His plan. She always comforted us in times she too needed comforting, and that was who she was: a God-fearing, big-hearted Christian, mother, wife, and friend.

With a heavy heart, we had to say goodbye to her last night. We thought we had more time; we didn't think this would happen so suddenly. We were not financially ready for this. As many know, my father worked solely to provide her every necessity she had at the time and would go without working to care for her. We are asking that if anybody would like to donate towards my sweet mother's funeral, we would be completely and forever grateful.
