My name is Amber I am David’s wife which is Ayden’s Dad. I am writing on behalf of the entire family.

Our family is living through a nightmare no parent/grandparent/family member should ever face. On May 30th, our 15‑year‑old son experienced a severe mental health crisis.

Our family is raising funds after the unjustified police shooting that took the life of our son during a mental health crisis. We are currently waiting for further details from investigators, but what we do know is devastating and unacceptable.

Our son was a child — sensitive, loving, funny, and deeply cared for by everyone who knew him. He deserved help. He deserved patience. He deserved to live.

We are now trying to navigate the impossible: planning a funeral for a child while supporting his siblings, managing our grief, and facing the overwhelming emotional and financial aftermath of a police shooting.

We are asking for help with:

• Time away from work to grieve and handle investigations

• Legal consultations as we seek answers and accountability
