This fundraiser is for someone who holds a very special place in my heart -my grandma, or as we all lovingly call her, my Nina. She was the heart and soul of our family...strong, kind, and always putting everyone before herself.

My Nina passed away unexpectedly at the age of 76 due to a heart attack in Texas, far away from home. She had a surgery scheduled and, though we were hopeful she would pull through, she was taken from us far too soon.

Her greatest wish was to be buried next to her lifelong partner in Nochistlán, Zacatecas, Mexico. My grandma never asked for much in life, so my deepest wish is to fulfill hers ...to bring her home to rest beside my grandpa. Doing so would bring peace and closure to our family, and allow us to honor her memory the way she deserves.

We are humbly asking for help to cover the transportation and funeral expenses to bring her back to Mexico. Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
