It’s with a humble heart, we reach out to ask for support in our time of loss. Sadly, our family wasn’t prepared for a loss as great as this, so we are needing to rely on friend and family for financial assistance.

For those who knew Mr. Walter E. Alvarez, can bear witness of the most genuine, hardworking, dedicated man we all have come to love. Rightfully so, he was nicknamed “LOCO” by those who knew him intimately. His legacy in both Peru and USA is something that will live on forever. From military soldier turned Soccer player, reliable and trustworthy plumber (who was an incomparable cook), to his last and most important roles, devoted FATHER & HUSBAND.

He leaves behind his beautiful wife of 35yrs (Delmi Mariely) and 2 sons born of that union (Walter and Coqui). Outside of them, there are holes in the hearts of his sisters and brother, an expected granddaughter, in laws, cousins, and hundreds of extended family n friends, near & far.

The emptiness his passing brings is not one that can be easily put into words, but we appreciate all who have reached out to extend yours.
