Help Us Lay Michelle Dawn Ladd to Rest
Donation protected
Michelle Dawn Ladd passed away at 49 years young on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at 6:50 am. She was a mother to 5 amazing kids - Chaz (32), Damien (29), Paage (28), Dathan (26), Damon (23), and a kitty - Annie Mae (1), and many more fur babies that she loved more than life itself. She loved us like no one else could – and it was a strong, genuine love.
Michelle was a kindhearted human who spread her love and warm embrace to everyone around her. She was always concerned for the well-being of others over her own. She would always help anyone in need when she could. Her love for animals was honorable, as she always would say - she dreamed of having property to save any rescues. She was a great mother, friend, daughter, sister, and so much more. She was a buzzball of laughter and sassiness (She loved buzzballs). If you saw Michelle, you knew she was an art piece, and she was proud of her art. May her beautiful spirit soar high above the trees, watching over her loving family and friends.
As some may know, Michelle was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer on May 28th, 2024. It had spread to her liver and pancreas. She started chemo right away and had complications with almost every treatment they tried with her. On December 22nd, she had gotten Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which was caused by one of her treatments. This syndrome is basically the body rejecting her skin. When the syndrome hit, it prolonged treatment, which she had already missed 7 weeks of chemo, and the cancer had taken her over.
Even during these hard times and complications, she kept a good attitude about it and just wanted to fight. She was a strong fighter.
As us children are young and still trying to make our way into this world, we are asking for help during this immensely hard time. We need help laying our mama to rest and can't do it alone. This money would cover the costs of her cremation and celebration of life. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, is deeply appreciated during this difficult time.
We are planning to have a celebration of life in a few months (TBD) when the weather is nice. We plan to have it at the beach where she loved and wanted to live. When we have it planned out, we will be making a Facebook event.
If you'd rather give money directly, then please contact me (Paage Ladd) through Facebook.
