Hello, My family are in need of help with putting our father to rest. Although, he had 3 insurance policies set up to take care of all of the expenses. All of his children have to agree to his cremation and have an 10 min call with the funeral home. Which we all have done except for one. Our youngest brother was adopted out to his uncle. Whom was suppose to be helping our youngest take care of his part. It has been over 3 weeks now that we have waited on him to make a 10 min call for our father to be put to rest respectfully. Instead they choose to let our fathers body lay in a funeral home! We have reached out to his uncle who had custody which he lives with/ He is an adult. He views our messages but no response. I haven’t set up a gogundme until now due to my father having this all taken care of as long as we all did our part. All remaining funds go to him/ youngest brother after the funeral cost is taken care of…. We would love to put our father to rest. That’s all. This man was one of the kindest souls with a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off of his back! He was loved and loved so many! He came to Indiana when he was put on hospice to be with us, for better care then he was being offered. And for my baby sister so he could protect her. My poor father was spending weekends alone. Not being showered. Alone daily before I got him to Indiana. We thankfully had a amazing team and church family that showed up and showed out for him once we got him here with us. We will be transporting him back to New Jersey. To have a proper funeral and celebration of life that he should of already have had and follow his wishes. Please help show our father the love he showed so many others! Please, all donations can be sent directly to the funeral home or on here so that everyone has a record of it. My siblings and I are working to help. We will have to pay travel expenses as well to transport him to New Jersey. We have the difference and are only asking for exactly what is needed. Nothing more. We have given up on anyone else doing what’s right at this point and can’t keep disrespecting our father by waiting. Please, anything helps. Prayers are greatly appreciated as well.
