Our mama, grandma, GG, great grandma, great-great grandma, Virginia Clawson Sedgwick, is 91 years old and transitioning home. She raised 17 of us—with laughter, grit, and more love than seems possible for one woman. My sisters and I just drove her home for her final journey. We sang to her, held her, made her comfortable. She's ready to rest with our daddy, and we're honored to midwife her home the way she midwifed us into this world.

Now we need to bury her next to dad. She has no insurance. Mama and daddy lived debt-free their whole lives, and we want to honor that. We need help covering funeral costs and family expenses so we can focus on saying goodbye, not scrambling for money. She has over 300 descendants. If each of us chips in what we can, we can do this together.
