In Memory of Koy – Help Us Lay Her to Rest
Donation protected
On January 23rd at 5:00 AM, I got a call that changed everything. My brother-in-law told me Koy had suffered a stroke. We rushed to the hospital, scared and overwhelmed.
Koy fought for over four months. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. We never gave up hope.
Then, on the morning of June 5th, 2025, we got the call we had feared. Her heart rate wouldn’t stabilize. Just 30 minutes later, another call—her heart had stopped. She was gone. All we could think about were her children. They didn’t just lose their mom—they lost their safe place, their anchor, their everything.
Koy was vibrant, kind, and full of joy. She had a warmth that made people feel seen and loved. Her light touched everyone who knew her.
Her children didn’t just lose their mother—they lost their safe place, their anchor, their source of love and comfort. The person who held them together through every challenge, the voice that soothed their fears, the arms they always ran to. This loss is beyond heartbreaking, and no words can fully express the hole it leaves in their lives.
If you’re able, please consider donating—no amount is too small. Your generosity will help with Koy’s funeral and burial, and any remaining funds will support her children’s future. Please share Koy’s story. Help us honor her memory and surround her kids with the love they need now more than ever.
Go Fund Me charges a fee. If you have Zelle/Apple Pay: 916- 42O-8925.
Memorial/Burial are TBD. We will send out more information soon. Thank you!
