It is with a heavy heart that we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved Kaled. Raised by me since he was just 7, Kaled was like a son to me, and his sudden loss has left an unimaginable void in our lives.

On April 30th, Kaled left home for what he told us was a new job opportunity. We stayed in touch daily, but on May 5th, we received his last message saying, "Dad, I love you." After that day, all communication ceased.

Deeply worried by this unusual silence, on May 12th, his mother and I began searching for him. Our worst fears were confirmed when we discovered that Kaled had been tragically taken from us—his life ended too soon in a senseless act of violence.

We are devastated by this loss and are working to bring those responsible to justice. One arrest has been made so far.
