Update – Viewing, Service Details, Cause of Death & Use of Funds 

Here are the official arrangements for Junea’s services: 

 • Viewing: Friday, July 11th from 4 PM to 6 PM at Forest Ridge Funeral Home 

 • Service: Saturday, July 12th from 12 PM to 1 PM at Forest Ridge Funeral Home, with procession line to follow at Bluebonnet Cemetery  

We also received her autopsy results. The cause of death was due to atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, with diabetes listed as a contributing factor. While we won’t go into medical details out of respect, it was sudden and unexpected — and we’re all still trying to process the shock and pain of her loss.  

One last update: Jerry’s workplace has graciously offered to cover all funeral service costs, which has been a true blessing during this incredibly difficult time. Because of that, the funds from this GoFundMe will now be used exclusively toward the cost of Junea’s casket, headstone, and other burial-related expenses. These are still significant costs, so if you’re able to donate or continue sharing, it truly helps more than you know.

Help Us Lay Junea to Rest Beside Her Mom

Our family is devastated by the sudden loss of Reagan Junea Rodden Jones, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the night of June 25, 2025, at just 46 years old. Yesterday evening, Junea told her husband she couldn’t breathe all of a sudden, then collapsed. Paramedics worked tirelessly, but they could not revive her. We are still waiting on the preliminary autopsy to understand why she was taken so unexpectedly.

Junea was a loving wife, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend—always the first to offer a hug, a joke, or a helping hand. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, and her laughter filled every room.

Why We’re Asking for Help

It is Junea’s wish—and ours—to be buried beside her mother in Garden of Columns at Bluebonnet Cemetery. Unfortunately, that specific section of the cemetery carries a $16,000 plot fee alone. (Price breakdown below) Even the least-expensive plot elsewhere in the same cemetery is $10,295. These figures do not include the casket, funeral service, flowers, or other essential costs.

Your donation—no matter the size—will go directly toward:

• Casket & vault – $3,500 to $5,000

• Flowers & programs – $1,500

• Headstone & engraving – $4,000

• Total goal (for plot by her mom): approximately $12,000

If we cannot reach the full amount, every dollar will still ease the burden on her husband and family and ensure Junea is laid to rest with dignity.
