Hello, my name is Stefanny, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our family to help lay our beloved Juan “Pops” Santos to rest.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Pops, known by many as “the man behind the piano”, whose love for music and people brought joy everywhere he went.

Pops loved his family, his church, and above all, he loved the Lord. His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Music was the heartbeat of his life. Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Pops was proud of his Puerto Rican roots and lived to play the music he loved most; salsa. He traveled, performed, and filled every room with rhythm and soul. Even after losing his sight, he didn't stopped playing; and somehow, he still knew his way around Jersey City better than a GPS.

This year, his health declined, and though we prayed for healing, the Lord called him home. He leaves behind his two sons, stepchildren, nieces, grandchildren, and family, all of whom are deeply heartbroken but forever grateful for the joy and faith he brought into our lives.

We are asking for help to raise $5,000 to cover funeral and cremation expenses so we can give Pops the beautiful farewell he deserves. Any amount, big or small, will help us lay him to rest in peace.

Please keep our family in your prayers and remember Pops for his music, his laughter, his strength, and his love for God.
