Hello, my name is Nickol, I'm one of Joseph's siblings. It is with a heavy heart that I write this. Joseph Matthew Willingham Meraz, our big brother had been missing since July of 2021. On August 6th, 2025 our greatest fear has been confirmed. My brother Joseph's remains have been confirmed found. We didn't get to say goodbye and we have lots of regrets of not cherishing the time we had with him. We weren't ready for you to go, and our hearts are heavy with grief. Joseph was a father of two boys, a son, a brother, and the funniest uncle to his nephews. We humbly ask for any size type of help to lay our brother to rest.

We would like to cremate my brother's remains and have a small service for my brother and remember all the good times we had. We appreciate your prayers, kind words, and support during this time.
