Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Jacqlyn Roof, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during one of the most painful times in my life. On June 7th, we lost my beloved father, John Roof Jr. His passing has left a deep void in our lives.

John was more than just a father. He was a true original. He had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, spending countless hours riding and talking about bikes with anyone who shared the same passion. He also loved the roar of engines at truck pulls, where he found joy in the power, the competition, and the community of friends that came with it.

He proudly spent several decades driving a semi over the road, seeing the country from behind the wheel and building a career defined by hard work, grit, and dedication. Life on the road was never easy, but he did it to provide for his family and he did it with pride.

But above all, what mattered most to him was family and friends. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, and he was always there to offer a laugh, a hug, or a listening ear.

His personality was larger than life. He was tough but kind, and wild at heart. He left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.

As we face the heartbreak of saying goodbye, we are also facing the financial burden of covering his cremation and headstone expenses. We want to give him the respectful, meaningful farewell he deserves, surrounded by the people and the memories that defined him.
