On Saturday, November 13, 2021 our beloved Aunt, Mother, Grandma, Sister and Harry Potter JoAnn unexpectedly passed away at 9:30pm. Those of us that had the pleasure of knowing her, knew she was one of a kind. She was the one you had to warn your new friends about before being introduced because of her unique sense of humor that we will all miss the most. JoAnn was the mother of 8 kids, 15 grandkids and one great grandchild. In a room full of people, you knew she was there just by hearing her infectious laugh. Amongst other things, JoAnn was a very talented artist, she often drew pictures of her grandkids and of The Beatles. She loved spending time with her sister, her kids, grandkids, friends, cooking, and watching crime tv.

We asked JoAnns family to tell us 3 things about her.

The most recurring answer was that she was HILARIOUS!!!!! She had the funniest jokes, the best comebacks and could make you laugh on the worst day. Although very inappropriate at times, we thought it was funny as f**k! (While writing this Annette, her niece, stopped us and said “should we add that? What if her church friends see this? Chelsey, her daughter, responded, “What damn church friends?”) She would’ve loved that!

Her love for her grandkids was unquestionably strong. She loved being with them any chance she could. JoAnn cared deeply for each of them. Her favorite nickname was Chopper for her grandson Elijah.

Last but not least, she loved her music. JoAnn loved anything Beatles.

As most of you know JoAnn recently lost her eldest daughter 5 months ago. Parents aren’t supposed to bury their kids, her family can’t help but to think that she died from a broken heart.

So at this time we would love any support you can give to help lay this awesome, funny, kind, sweet, crazy, faded and x-rated child of God to rest.

All jokes aside, humor is healing and this is how she would’ve wanted us to be. We appreciate you reading this far and for all of your support.
