Help Us Lay Our Mom, Joan Thiel, to Rest

On July 16th, our mom, Joan Thiel, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly.

Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance, and now it’s just my sister Rachel and me trying to find a way to cover the cost of her cremation. Since losing our dad in 2011, we've been navigating life together — and now we’re facing this loss and financial burden alone.

We are not asking for anything beyond what’s needed to provide her with a simple, respectful cremation. No services, no extras — just the essentials to give our mom the peaceful farewell she deserves.

We are hoping to raise $2,500, which will go directly toward cremation costs and related fees.
