Hi, my name is Aquinas Stillwell.
With broken hearts, we are asking for help to lay our beloved brother, Jimmy Trammell to rest and to seek justice in the wake of this unimaginable tragedy.
Jimmy was murdered during the Washington State Prison riots, just three days before he was supposed to come home. Instead of picking him up at the Greyhound station and beginning a new chapter, our family was faced with the unbearable task of identifying his body and preparing to bring him home in no way a family ever should.
Our family has already endured more loss than words can hold. I have buried both of our parents and two brothers, and now I am facing the heartbreak of burying my brother Jimmy. Emotionally, physically, and financially I am exhausted, but I refuse to let Jimmy be forgotten or laid to rest without dignity.
We are asking for support to help cover
- Funeral expenses
- Legal fees as we seek accountability and answers surrounding his death
- Immediate family support during this devastating time
Jimmy mattered. His life mattered. His future mattered. He deserved to come home.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your prayers, kindness and support mean more than we can ever express.
Thank you for helping us honor Jimmy’s life and giving our family the strength to get through the days ahead.
