Help Us Lay Hailemariam Kemma to Rest

Dear Ethiopian and Eritrean Community, Friends, and Supporters,

My name is Martha Morrell, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support as we raise funds for the funeral expenses of my beloved father, Hailemariam Kemma.

On the morning of April 22, 2025, our father passed away unexpectedly. Ato Hailemariam was a devoted and loving father of four, a hard worker, and a kind, humble man who touched the lives of many. Since moving to Seattle, WA in 2004, he became a beloved part of the community—always ready to help, advise, or simply show kindness to those around him.

As we navigate this painful and sudden loss, our family is doing everything we can to give him a proper and dignified farewell. We kindly ask for your support. Any amount you are able to give will go directly toward his funeral and burial costs, and will ease the financial burden on our family during this incredibly difficult time.

A memorial prayer service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church.

Following the service, the burial will take place at 1:00 PM at Mt. Olivet Cemetery(100 Blaine Ave NE, Renton, WA 98056). After the burial, a repast and memorial reception will be held back at St. Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.

አባታችን አቶ ኃይለማርያም ከማ ካሳ የተከበሩ መልካምና ተግባቢ ሰው ነበሩ:: ማለዳ ሚያዚያ 22 ቀን 2025 በድንገት ከዚህ ዓለም በድካም ስላረፋ ለቀብር ማስፈፀሚ የሚሆን ገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ አስፈልጓል:: አቶ ኃይለማርያም በዋሽንግተን ስቴት ሲያትል ከተማ ከመጡበት 2004 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ ነዋሪ የነበሩ ሲሆን የአራት ልጆች አባት ነበሩ:: ቤተሰቡ ከደረሰበት ድንገተኛ ሀዘን ባሻገር የቀብር ማስፈፀሚያ ገንዘብ ስላጠረ ሁላችሁም እንድትረዱ በአክብሮት እንጠይቃለን::

የአቶ ሀይለማርያም ከማ ካሳ የፍትሐት ጸሎት አርብ May 2nd ከጠዋቱ 10:00Am በቅዱስ ገብርኤል የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ይፈፀማል። በማስከተልም ግብአተ መሬታቸው ከቀኑ 1pm በ MT.Oliver Cemetery (100 Blaine Ave NE, Rentton, was 98056) ይፈፀማል። ከቀብር መልስ በቅዱስ ገብርኤል የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያ ባዘጋጀነው የፀበል ፃዲቅና የስንብት ፕሮግራም ላይ በመገኘት መንፈሳዊ ሽኝት እንድታደርጉለት በአክብሮት እንጠይቃለን።
