Help Us Lay Gabe Lopez to Rest

On May 13, 2025, our beloved Gabe Lopez passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a deep void in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Gabe was known by many as a fierce presence—his size and strength often made people pause—but those who truly knew him knew the truth: he was a gentle giant with a kind heart and an unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. Gabe lived his life with a rare intensity, always protecting the people he loved and standing tall for what he believed in.

In this difficult time, we are reaching out to our extended family, friends, and community for support. While Gabe's chosen family, the Mongols, have shown incredible generosity by covering the costs of his funeral service and ensuring Gabe is brought home to North Carolina, we are still in need of help.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly toward helping Gabe’s loved ones—many traveling with their families from across the world—make the journey to North Carolina to attend his burial. These funds will also help cover lodging during this time of mourning and provide support to those who had to take time away from work to be here for Gabe’s final farewell. Our goal is to ensure that everyone who loved him has the chance to come together, honor his memory, and say their goodbyes without the added weight of financial strain.

There is no set amount we are asking for. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on our family during this painful time.
