Help Us Lay Francisco Salgado to Rest
Donation protected
It’s with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Francisco Salgado who
was kind, creative, and always thinking of others. But like so many, he struggled silently. We will never fully understand the depth of his pain, but we carry his light with us and are committed to sending him to his final resting place with dignity and glory. We’re reaching out to our community, friends and family for support during this difficult time.
Our goal is to raise funds to help cover funeral and memorial costs, and to create a service that honors Kiko.
Any amount you're able to give will go directly toward funeral and memorial costs. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this and checking in on those around you
Francisco you smiled through the storm, no one could see
The weight on your shoulders, how hard it must be
You gave us your laughter, but hid all the pain
Now silence is louder, it echoes your name
You were the light in our darkest days
But your own skies were clouded, lost in the haze
And now you’re free, but we’re left behind
Asking the questions we won’t ever find
We light a candle, we share your song
Wish we could’ve held you just a bit more strong
So we come together, to honor your grace
And help lay your soul in a peaceful place
You helped so many, yet felt so alone
A heart full of love, but lost in the unknown
You mattered, you mattered, in ways you don’t know
And now we must carry what you couldn’t show.
The world feels colder since you slipped away But your story might save someone else today
And now you’re free, but we’re left behind
Asking the questions we won’t ever find
This isn’t goodbye, it’s a vow we make
To speak the words we too often fake
Check on your friends, be gentle, be kind
Don’t wait for the signs you might never find
And now you’re free, your pain is gone
But your memory, it still marches on
We light a candle, and say your name
Your story won’t vanish, it won’t fade
So we come together, hearts interlaced
To lift you with love to a peaceful place
