Hello Family and Friends, as you all may or may not know, the Hewlett family has been experiencing unthinkable loss in the past year, losing 4 siblings in the past 15 months. It is with heavy hearts we share the latest (and unexpected) passing of Everett "Fitzy" Hewlett, who left us on September 3rd, 2025, at age 62. Fitzy was well known in the community and loved by all. Fitzy was a loved father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. Fitzy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, just laughing, joking and talking trash. Fitzy loved his Dallas Cowboys and watching old country westerns.

Our family is devastated by this loss, and while we are doing our best to navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are also faced with the unexpected burden of funeral expenses.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of Fitzy's funeral and memorial services. Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward giving Fitzy the dignified farewell he deserves.
