Help Us Lay Eze To Rest

Donation protected
Hello, I am Maureen Mrabure and I am raising funds for my nephew Chibueze Momah, who was tragically murdered on duty in the recent ATL Lounge shooting in Vaughan. Eze was an international student from Nigeria, who left his family and migrated to Canada in search of a better life and new opportunities.

Eze had just turned 22 this past May. He was a calm, peaceful, and loving young man.
He is the only son, in a family of 5. He had just finished his diploma at Durham College and had been looking forward to his first entry-level work using his new degree in Honours Computer Programming. In addition to school, Eze was working as a security guard and a cook in the family restaurant to help support himself.

On July 23, 2022, on a regular working night, he left home to work as he normally would for his security shift, and would not return home... Eze was murdered on duty when a shooter returned to the club and could not enter the front doors, he began to fire multiple rounds through the glass, killing 2 people and critically injuring a patron. Eze, unfortunately, was blindly struck from behind and did not have any chance of survival as a bullet struck his carotid artery.

The family is grieving for the loss of innocent life, of a quiet spirit whose smile would light up a room, his dreams were to bring his sisters here and create a life that was enjoyable and fruitful.

So, this GoFundme is created for funding the burial costs, and the expenses for his mother, father, and 2 sisters to come to Canada to say their final goodbyes as we lay Eze to rest.

We love you, you'll be in our hearts forever!
