Yesterday we lost someone who meant a lot to us — my best friend and my son’s father, Eric. His passing came after a short illness, and we’re still trying to wrap our heads around it. What we do know is that we want to give him a proper goodbye.

Eric was a quiet man with a big heart. His circle was small, but if you were in it, you knew he had your back. He might take his time, but he always came through. He had his own battles, but he never stopped showing up for the people he loved. If you ever tasted his cooking, you know he could throw down in the kitchen. And if you ever heard that bass bumping down the lane, you knew exactly who was coming. He was a hard worker who always found some way to hustle up some cash. It’s those little things we’re gonna miss the most.

He leaves behind family, kids, and grandkids who called him “Grampo” and everyone loved him deeply. We just want to honor him the right way. Anything helps — sharing, donating, or even just keeping his family in your thoughts. Thank you for showing love during this tough time.
