It’s been 8 months and Alex hasn’t been laid to rest. Please help reach our goal. Anything helps. We are waiting for our mother to come from Venezuela to put Alex to rest. He had not seen her for 30 years except for on video calls. Immigration has approved somewhat her VISA to come to USA to put Alex to rest. Anything is greatly appreciated.
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved brother, father, son, and friend, Alex Urbina. He was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind his two beautiful children, a loving wife, his brother, sister, and mother, and countless others who loved and cherished him. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts.
Alex, was a bright light in all of our lives—his laugh, his kindness, and his love for his family were undeniable. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help someone in need, and now, we are asking for your help as we face this unimaginable loss.
We are humbly reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. The suddenness of his passing has left us unprepared for the financial burden of his funeral and final arrangements and family. We want to honor Alex with a proper farewell, one that reflects the love and joy he brought into all of our lives, but we need help to make that possible.
If you can, please consider donating whatever you can to help cover the costs of his funeral and provide some relief to his grieving family. No amount is too small, and every bit will help us give Alex the peace and rest he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this devastating time. Your support means the world to us as we navigate the heartbreak of losing someone so dear.
With gratitude and love,
Erika Cannet-Urbina
On behalf of the Urbina family
