Hello, my name is Ruby Morales and I am trying to raise funds for my beloved Grandfather's funeral. My grandpa's name was Eddie Morales and he recently passed away due to health complications caused by dementia.

My family and myself would like to lay my grandpa to rest with his beloved wife Nilda Morales. My grandparents were married for 57 years before my grandma lost her battle with breast cancer in April of 2018. My grandparents death plan has always been to be laid to rest together. After going through a pandemic and other financial hardships fulfilling my grandpa's final wishes is proving to be a difficult feat.

The reason this is so important to me is because my grandpa was the most caring man I have ever known. He loved his family unconditionally and would do just about anything for them. As a young man he came to this country from Cuba with his wife and children with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Once here, he worked hard to build a new life and support his family. Never have you met a harder working man than my grandpa. Even when life threw him curveballs like my grandma's many years of battling breast cancer he was a rock for his family. Without all the sacrifices and hardships my grandpa faced early in his life, I along with my sisters and younger cousin would not be here today.

In order to have my grandpa buried in the same plot as my late grandma the cemetery and funeral home fees are totaling about $20,000. About $13,000 is required to finish paying off the burial plot and doing the burial itself. The other $7,000 with be going toward the casket, preparing my grandpa's body for the funeral, and transporting him to the cemetery.
