It is with unimaginable pain that we announce the tragic and sudden loss of our beloved Dominique Johnson, who was taken from us far too soon at the age of 27. He was the innocent victim of a senseless act of gun violence—a bystander caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dominique was more than just a name. He was a son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend with a heart full of kindness, a calming spirit, and a soul that radiated love. He had a quiet strength and a deep love for his family, especially for his two amazing children, who were his pride and joy. Now, those children must face life without their father, and our family must find the strength to give Dominique the peaceful and honorable homegoing he deserves.
We are raising funds to help cover funeral and memorial service costs, burial expenses, and support for Dominique’s two children. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward honoring his life and helping his children in the difficult days ahead. Dominique was a young man with a future, a family, and a heart full of love. He did not deserve this. We are broken, but we know Dominique’s light will continue to shine through the people who loved him and the children he left behind.
