This is my dad. I’ve been taking care of him in my home for the last 10 years. He was so special to me and my sons. It was wonderful getting to have him around while my boys were growing up. He was so funny. He went through brain cancer twice and we thought he was doing well, but on Monday, February 24th, he unexpectedly passed away. He did not have a life insurance plan and we all thought he would live as long as his father did because it seemed like he was doing so well. So now I have the difficult task of trying to handle funeral expenses. I’m sorry that I even need to ask. He was a very private man with an incredibly small circle of people in his life. Just me, my kids, and my brother and sister. My dad’s sister passed away last month on the 24th and he has one surviving sister. If you have something to spare, it would go a long way for us in this difficult and painful time. Thank you to those who have reached out, shared your experiences, and added us to your prayers.
