On June 8, 2025, our beloved Christopher Lamar Houston III, just 21 years old, was tragically taken from us. While simply trying to enjoy one of his favorite meals—a Bar-B-Que sandwich—he was senselessly shot nine times. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he passed away on June 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Christopher was a kind, respectful, and humble young man with a bright future. He had never been in trouble, had no enemies, and was deeply loved by everyone who knew him. His gentle spirit and big heart left a mark on all who crossed his path.

Born and raised in a Christian home in Miami, Florida, Christopher was the third child of six and was brought up with strong morals, love, and compassion. He graduated high school in 2022 and had dreams of becoming a business consultant and entrepreneur to better his life and support his family. He had a deep love for music and a gift for inspiring others.

This GoFundMe has been set up by his mother, Corvee Griffin, to help cover funeral expenses and give Christopher the dignified farewell he deserves. No one should have to bury their child—especially under such heartbreaking circumstances.
