On the evening of September 8, our family’s world changed forever when Christian Fa'amaligi was tragically struck while riding his e-bike. Despite every effort to save him, Christian passed away at 1:04 a.m. on September 9.

Christian had a heart this world could have easily hardened, but somehow, it didn’t. Life had not always been gentle with him, yet he continued to love deeply, keep trying, and believe there was something better ahead. Our family was incredibly proud of how far he had come and the man he was becoming.

Christian loved his family with his whole heart: his parents, siblings, nieces and nephew, and his wife, Raea, with whom he was building a life and looking forward to their future together. There was supposed to be more. More time, more memories, and more life for Christian to share with the people he loved.

Our family was not prepared for this devastating loss or the unexpected expenses of bringing Christian home and laying him to rest. We are asking for help giving him the beautiful homegoing he deserves.

Above everything else, we want Christian to be remembered for his life, not the way his life ended. He was a son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return.
