On August 21, 2026, my child, Cameron Frierson, was tragically taken from our family while leaving a high school football game. Cameron was just doing what so many high school students do on a Friday night, enjoying a football game, and in an instant our lives changed forever. Cameron was a bright, beaming light in all of our lives, and this loss has left us heartbroken and struggling to understand how to move forward without him. He leaves behind a family who loves him deeply, including his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, all of whom are grieving this unimaginable loss.

Cameron was also a hardworking teenager who was trying to work two jobs so he could buy his own clothes for back to school. That was the kind of child he was, determined, responsible, and willing to work hard for what he needed. He had so much life ahead of him, and remembering the effort he was making for himself makes this loss even more painful for all of us who loved him.

We were not prepared for something like this, and I am asking for help during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced. All donations will go toward Cameron’s funeral expenses so we can give my child a decent burial and honor his memory with the love and dignity he deserves. No parent ever expects to have to bury their child first, and we simply did not have time to prepare for this pain or these expenses.
