Help Us Lay Barbara Coletti to Rest
Donation protected
Our beloved mother and Nana, Barbara Jeanette Coletti, passed away on April 21, 2025—just one day shy of her 91st birthday. She left this world the way she lived: faithful, loving, and surrounded by family. Steven, Jamie, Jayden, and I all prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet as she took her final breath.
Barbara wasn’t ready to go. She wanted to live. Just one week before her passing, she bravely underwent surgery to give herself a fighting chance. The photo above was taken just days before—smiling from her hospital bed while FaceTiming with her great-grandson, Ollie. Her joy was contagious. Her love was relentless. And she held onto hope for as long as she could.
She spent her entire life caring for others—her own mother, her daughter, her grandchildren, and anyone lucky enough to know her. She didn’t have a traditional retirement because she never stopped giving. Her life’s purpose was people.
My name is Kristen, and I’m Barbara’s daughter. I’m a nurse practitioner working in a functional medicine clinic, helping critically ill patients—many of whom are so poor they pay what they can. My family lives simply, doing our best to serve others with compassion and integrity. We’ve managed to cover the funeral costs, but the cemetery requires full payment up front—and we’re currently about $7,000 short.
It breaks my heart to ask for help. But I don’t want finances to stand in the way of honoring the life of a woman who gave everything to everyone. She deserves to be laid to rest with peace and dignity, surrounded by the same love she so freely gave to others.
If Barbara ever touched your life—or if her story touches your heart—we would be deeply grateful for your support. Whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or simply sharing this fundraiser, thank you for helping us carry her to her final resting place.
With love, broken hearts, and deepest gratitude,
Kristen and Family
