Help Lay Baby Walker to Rest and Support His Parents in Mourning

On July 25, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable tragedy. We lost our precious grandson, Walker Matthew Baugus. Born on March 31, 2025, Walker was only three months old—a bright, beautiful light in our lives. He was full of smiles, sweetness, and joy. He was perfect.

Walker leaves behind a loving family, including his big brother, Wrenn, who adored him. Watching Wrenn love his baby brother made Walker’s short life even more meaningful.

No parent should ever have to bury their child. Our son and his fiancé are devastated by this sudden and heartbreaking loss. In the midst of their grief, we want to ease some of the burden that comes with planning a funeral no one was prepared for and allow them the time they need to mourn their baby without the added stress of financial worries.

We are asking for your support to help cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as to give Walker’s parents the space and time they need to grieve without the immediate pressure of returning to work.
