Help Us Lay Anna to Rest with Dignity

My name is Giuseppe. On Tuesday, December 17th, 2024, my mom, Anna, was taken to the hospital for a bad cough.
After all the tests, they couldn't find any issues besides her white blood cells and platelets being too low, which was draining her body. She was having platelets in her body just depleting by the minute. After five days of different types of tests, it was determined to move her to a cancer center as Shore Medical Center assumed all symptoms led to cancer.
When she was moved to Cooper University Cancer Center, they ran more tests and it was determined she has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is a cancer that happens within days and can immediately attack anywhere in the body with the type of infection it produces.
After finding this out, it has been a very emotional couple of weeks for my father, myself, my brother, and our wives as we are in shock at how fast it happened at such a young age she is.
They have done five days of chemotherapy, which ran from Monday, 12/23/2024, and ended on Friday, 12/27/2024. The idea is to give her chemo and then monitor her for three to four weeks so she will be able to go into remission. If she was able to go into remission, she would be put on a list to try and get a bone marrow transplant. We continued to pray and have high hopes.
Unfortunately, the leukemia has taken a turn and attacked the majority of her organs. The doctors have exhausted everything they can do. At this point, they are keeping her comfortable and they have discussed with my family to prepare for the outcome.
It will be hard, as financially, it will be tough to cover my mom's funeral expenses just to, at minimum, give her a proper burial and proper send-off. Any help would be appreciated to cover these expenses. It will be a rough road and a big adjustment for my family and me.
Everybody who knows my mother knew she was such a fun-loving person and had a huge heart for her family and friends. She would do anything she could to help and be there for the people she loved.
