Hi, my name is Francisco Rocha, my family and I are asking for help to lay my little brother Alex to rest.
My brother passed away in Arlington, Texas this week. Our family is heartbroken, and on top of the pain of losing him, we’ve been hit with the reality that we don’t have the funds to give him a proper burial.
We’ve been told we have about four days to make arrangements, and the total cost is around $31,000 including:
Funeral home and burial services
Cemetery fees and plot
Transportation and preparation of his body
Travel costs for immediate family to say goodbye
Basic service and viewing so his loved ones can pay their respects
We're doing everything we can, but we can’t do this alone. I’m a single working parent here in Ventura, California, and while I work hard, an expense like this is far beyond what we can cover on our own in such a short time.
️ About My Brother
Alex was more than just my brother — a man after God's heart, he was a loving and caring son, he was a good friend when in need no matter the circumstances, the one who could bring the best out of you on his toughest days even when he was at his worst, the one who would show up for you to express how much you are deeply cared for and loved by him.
He was 37 years old.
He loved serving others enthusiastically and loved sharing about the love that Jesus Christ had shown him through his personal life endeavors both the good, the bad and the ugly. His love for God showed up wherever he showed up to love on others.
He leaves behind loved ones who are grieving deeply.
He wasn’t perfect, but he had a heart of gold that carried its weight in deep love and compassion. He showed up for others the best way he knew how. He deserves to be laid to rest with dignity, surrounded by love, not left in limbo because of money.
Why I’m Asking for Help
We don’t have life insurance or savings set aside for this. Everything happened suddenly, and now we’re in a race against time to make decisions no family ever wants to make.
The funds from this campaign will go directly toward:
Funeral home fees & burial costs
Cemetery plot and grave marker
Transport and preparation
Travel and basic lodging for immediate family to attend his service
If there is any extra, it will go toward helping our family with immediate needs as we navigate this loss.
⏰ Time Is Short
The funeral home and cemetery in Arlington need answers and payments quickly in order to schedule his burial. We have about four days to come up with enough to move forward, otherwise our options become very limited and even more heartbreaking.
Your help — no matter the amount — will make a real difference:
$5, $10, $20 adds up quickly
