Hi, I am Blessing Attah raising this gofundme on behalf of my sister Inlaw, who was a friend and a sister to me. She died and left 4 children behind. On 27th December 2025 Adesuwa Arala Uwague (known as mama Paris) was travelling from Nigeria back to her base Italy and was struck by an unimaginable tragedy at the Malpensa Airport in Italy shortly after the flight landed, Adesuwa (mama Paris) lost her life and leaving 4 children behind. She is my husband’s younger sister, who was a pillar of love and support to our family. Adesuwa grew up alongside my husband, who cared for her like a daughter and she calls him daddy, she was the best daughter anyone could ever ask for.

Adesuwa lived in Italy, travelled to Nigeria and sadly passed away suddenly from a cardiac arrest while returning back to Italy. According to reports from the Italian authorities and medical team, she collapsed shortly after landing and disembarking from the flight at Malpensa Airport Italy and despite CPR and emergency care, she could not be revived. This is shocking, overwhelming and heartbreaking news for us. SHE DID NOT EVEN SAY GOODBYE .

She was a devoted, loving and a caring mother, kind hearted, generous and a peaceful person, who loved her children and everyone around her. She left behind three young children in Italy and one daughter who she had in her teenage age and who also has got 4 children in Nigeria. This sudden loss has left the children devastated and our entire family heartbroken.

At present, her body remains in Italy while the police continue their investigations and after which it will be released for post-mortem and burial arrangements.

Our family’s wish is to bring her body back to Nigeria so she can be laid to rest in her homeland, surrounded by loved ones, according to our cultural and family traditions.

Unfortunately, the cost of:

• Repatriating her body from Italy to Nigeria

• Transporting her three children to Nigeria for the funeral

• Funeral and burial arrangements

is estimated to be £14,000 which is far beyond what our family can manage alone.

This loss comes at a time when our family is still recovering from previous trauma, making this season especially painful. Despite the hardship, we are holding onto faith and the kindness of others.

Con il cuore spezzato, noi figli di Adesuwa Uwague Arala Osula, conosciuta da molti come Mama Paris, chiediamo umilmente il vostro sostegno.

Il 27 dicembre 2025, nostra madre è venuta improvvisamente a mancare a causa di un arresto cardiaco al suo arrivo in Italia dopo un viaggio. È stato un evento improvviso e devastante che ci ha lasciati senza parole e senza la possibilità di prepararci a una perdita così grande.

Adesuwa era una madre amorevole, una donna forte e generosa, che ha sempre vissuto per i suoi figli e per la sua famiglia. La sua perdita ha lasciato un vuoto immenso nelle nostre vite.

Attualmente, il suo corpo è sotto custodia delle autorità italiane in attesa delle procedure necessarie. Il nostro desiderio più grande è poter riportare nostra madre in Nigeria, la sua terra natale, affinché possa essere sepolta con dignità, secondo le tradizioni e circondata dall’amore della sua famiglia.

Purtroppo, i costi per:

• il rimpatrio della salma in Nigeria

• il viaggio dei figli per partecipare al funerale

• le spese funerarie

ammontano a circa 20.000–22.000 euro, una cifra che la nostra famiglia non è in grado di sostenere da sola in questo momento così doloroso.

Per questo, chiediamo con grande umiltà il vostro aiuto. Ogni contributo, grande o piccolo, farà la differenza e ci aiuterà a dare a nostra madre l’addio che merita.
