Help Launch The Unmentioned Project

We’re reaching out to our community to help us cover the start-up costs of getting The Unmentioned Project off the ground while we wait for our official 501(c)(3) status.

Our mission is to break the stigma around men’s mental health by normalizing open conversation, connecting men and their families to accessible resources, and working with community partners to prevent suicide and support families affected by suicide.

This mission is deeply personal to me. I, Hannah, along with our dedicated board, founded The Unmentioned Project to honor my dad, whose loss to mental health struggles has been the hardest experience of my life. Through this work, we aim to help other men and families facing similar challenges, offering strength, resources, and a safe place for open conversation.

Your gift today covers essential start up costs while our 501(c)(3) status is pending:

• Marketing materials - ($50 could cover the cost of business

cards)

• Software costs - ($50 could cover the cost of a months worth of

website maintenance)

• Filing fees - ($320 could cover all filing costs)

• Promotional products - ($90 could cover the cost of stickers with

the foundation logo)

• Items for our first event on August 24th - ($150 could cover the

cost of a table and tablecloth with our foundation logo)

• Other essential start-up expenses for the foundation - ($200

could cover the cost of a laser printer and supplies)

Any funds remaining after start-up costs will go straight back into the foundation, helping us provide resources and support to our community. While our nonprofit status is pending, donations may not be tax-deductible; we’ll let you know as soon as that changes.
