My name is Russell, and I recently lost my mother to Stage IV Lung Cancer. During her illness, I traveled back and forth from Phoenix to Chicago to be by her side, which meant taking a lot of time off work. As hard as she fought, we lost her, and I fell behind on bills and my business. My love of cooking started when I was young, making breakfast for my mom and seeing the joy it brought her. Cooking has always been my passion, and my wife and I have dreamed of owning a food truck to share our love of Authentic Caribbean Jerk soul foods and Chicago-style snacks with our community in Surprise, AZ, and the surrounding valley.
We are now working to turn that dream into reality, but we need help to get started. The funds raised will go toward securing our business license in Surprise, purchasing a food truck, buying supplies, and providing working capital so we can hire a team. We are committed to supporting our local community by shopping from local businesses and farms, and we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to the cancer society in honor of my mother.
Your support means the world to us. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us rebuild, give back to our community, and keep my mother's memory alive through our food and our actions. Thank you in advance for any and all donations. We are grateful for your kindness and belief in our dream.
