Hello! My name is Anjelica Bautista and I'm a 3rd year vet student from WSU reaching out on behalf of Hiraya Animal Shelter- a 501(c)(3) created from my family's commitment to bridging western veterinary training with animal welfare efforts in SE Asia. Hiraya was first imagined by my mom just over a year ago. What began as a simple idea has grown into a community-driven mission, with my family and local supporters in the Philippines working tirelessly to turn this vision into a reality.

During our grand opening this summer, we plan to bring preventative care (e.g. flea/tick, deworming) and spay/neuter initiatives to Jaen, Nueva Ecija, a rabies-endemic province in Central Luzon.

The impact we can make is directly tied to the medical supplies we’re able to purchase. Your donations would help:

  • provide spay and neuter surgeries for 40 female cats and 60 male cats

  • supply dog and cat food in communities where many families already struggle to put food on their own tables

  • fund deworming treatments and flea/tick preventatives where there is limited veterinary resources

We need to raise roughly $1,000 to help 100 animals. Surpassing this goal would allow us to help more.

If you've read this far, thank you for taking the time. Your generosity will help us create a brighter future for these animals. Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions, please visit our website: www.hirayarescue.org
